  With the use of hands, elbows, forearms and fingers, Zaque will tailor your massage using the different modalities depending on your physical or spiritual needs but all the while focusing on releasing tension and restoring your body’s balance and vitality.

  The word "Reiki" translates to "universal life force energy"' and comes from the Japanese words "Rei", meaning universal and "Ki or Chi", referring to life force.

  Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing and is said to involve the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner's palms to their patient. It emerged in Japan in the late 1800's and was given the name by Mikao Usui who rediscovered the lost art after studying the 2500-year-old Sanskrit text.

  The healing energy of Reiki originates from the universe and does not draw from the energy of the giver. The sensations that can be experienced are warmth, tingling, and deep relaxation and people receiving Reiki can sometimes fall asleep.
